MasterChef is an American
television program, mainly led by renowned chef Gordon Ramsay. He debuted on
television on July 27, 2010
in the channel Fox.2 The program consists of a
competition for amateur chefs trying their highest skills to prepare stews and
desserts of the highest quality, with a time limit. Until now there have been
five seasons with five winners and five finalists. In 2012 the program became
known worldwide, as it was broadcast in several parts of the world in a
subtitle way.
Gordon Ramsay is a chef, restaurant owner and
British television presenter. In all his gastronomic career he has been awarded
16 Michelin stars. Apart from his culinary aspects, Ramsay is known for
presenting TV and reality shows about
cooking, both in the UK and the
US.
Among the best known are "Hell's Kitchen", "The F Word",
"Kitchen Nightmares" and the US version of "MasterChef“. How works this program?
They make a casting
where more than forty people try to get a place in the program, showing its
highest tactics kitchen after variants playoffs, eighteen remaining contestants
are going through various tests and so reach the final, after that they select
two winners who receive a bachelor's professional chef.
