INTERVIEW TO MR ANDY, MANAGER OF NIKE COMPANY (Nuria/Jessica)

 

Hello Candy, can you explain to us what nike is?
- Well, nike is an American multinational corporation involved in the design, development, manufacturing and marketing of footwear, equipment, accessories and services about sports.

Wow, it is so intersting. And when was it founded?
- It was founded on 25th January 1964, so 51 years ago by Bill Bowerman and Phil Knight. It is said that it was first known by Blue Ribbon Sports, but 7 years later by Nike.

OK! It is said that your first product was a slipper. Now what kind of products do you sell?
- Of course this is true. We sell all kind of sport products

And how did  your company increase?
-Well, first at all we started creating a small shop to know if it would be a good business or not. As time went we realised that this kind of enterprise would be a success!

Oh that is fantastic!! What about of the future? Are you going to produce new products beyond sport products?
-Mmmh... Yes! We are thinking about introducing beds, fashion clothes and maybe we create a car!

It is amazing! My last question is... How do you work?
- It's a long story but, there are huge factories spread all around the world. In addition a lot of "NIKE" shops are around the world, also we have suppliers. We are a good workforce!
